INTRODUCTION

Have you ever thought about doing something useful, productive and satisfying in your spare
time?

One thing which would include those three things above is discovering your family past and
creating your very own family tree.  It's easier than you think.  

I've been doing it with mine. I'm one of a family of six, my parents come from families of seven each respectively, the same goes for my wife's family.  There are four hundred entries spanning 6 generations already.  Most of the information such as names, dates of births, marriages and deaths can be found online using appropriate websites.  Social networks are very useful too for finding out such information.  Of course you can ask the people concerned to provide you with such information directly.  It doesn't need to be done in one swoop, but bite size chunks, say dedicating 20 minutes per day.  Delving into the history of your family can be challenging, but with access to a lot of data nowadays possible.
